Rechargeable

Battery

Whenever possible use AC power as this will increase the life of the battery. Battery life is directly
related to the number of discharge cycles it experiences.
The number of hours that the balance can run on the battery depends on many factors. Backlight, IR
Sensors and Interface Options will reduce the hours before a recharge is needed. For optimum
battery life turn these features off. Under average conditions the battery should last 100 hours (LCD)
or 22 hours (LED Display) before needing a charge.

REMOVING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY OPTION

To convert the balance to operate on dry cell batteries follow these steps.
1. Disconnect the Power Adapter.
2. Disconnect and remove the battery.
3. Remove the Recharge Circuit board.
4. Install the Battery Connector. Refer to step 3 above where it was removed.
5. Install 4 C cell batteries or connect the Power Adapter.
