EN-1 Navigator Rechargeable Battery
INTRODUCTION
The rechargeable battery option is for use with the Ohaus Navigator XL and XT Balances only. This
accessory has been tested and complies with the approvals listed in the Navigator Instruction Manual.

Note: Balances with a factory installed Rechargeable Battery will include a Battery Connector
that will be used if the balance is converted to use with dry cell batteries.
INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the existing Power Adapter, it will not be reused.
2. Remove the Battery Cover and any existing dry cell batteries.
3. Remove the Battery Connector as shown below.
4. Install the Warning Label to inside of the Battery Cover as shown in the picture below.
5. Connect the red wire to the
+
terminal on the battery and the black wire to the
-
terminal on the
battery. Place the battery in the battery compartment.
