POWER
The MXR CUSTOM SHOP ‘74 VINTAGE PHASE 90 can be powered by one 9-volt
battery accessed through the bottom of the pedal.
DIRECTIONS
To begin using your MXR CUSTOM SHOP ‘74 VINTAGE PHASE 90:
A) Run a cable from your guitar to the Vintage Phase 90’s Input jack and run another
cable from the Vintage Phase 90’s Output jack to your amplifier. (For starters,
select the clean channel of your amp).
B) Set the Vintage Phase 90’s Speed control to 12 o’clock.
C) Turn the effect on by depressing the footswitch.
D) Rotating the Speed knob in a clockwise motion will result in a faster phase effect,
and a counterclockwise motion creates slower effects.
E) Select your amp’s distortion channel and repeat steps B through D to hear how the
effect reacts differently with a dirty tone.
