SAFETY CAUTIONS

1 Warning – for additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with

a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable. Ask an electrician for

advice.

2 The appliance, including its cord, must not be used, played with, cleaned or maintained

by persons under eight years old and should at all times be kept out of their reach.

Use, cleaning or maintenance of the appliance by children over eight or by anyone with a

lack of knowledge, experience or with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities

should only be undertaken after receiving appropriate instruction and under the

adequate supervision of a responsible adult to ensure that they do so safely and that the

hazards involved are understood and avoided.

3 Do not put the appliance in liquid; do not use it

near water in a bath-tub, basin or other vessel;

and don’t use it outdoors.

4 Keep direct airflow away from eyes or other

5 Avoid allowing any part of the hairdryer to come into contact with the face, neck or scalp.

6 In use, take care that the inlet and outlet grilles are not blocked in any way as this will

cause the unit to automatically stop.

If this should occur, switch off and allow the appliance to cool down.

7 Ensure the inlet grille is free from obstructions such as household fluff, loose hair etc.

8 Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
