Maintenance and repairs.
Risk of injury
Service, testing and repairs may only be car-
ried out by electrical engineers in conformity
with the regulations valid in the respective
country.
The gearbox must be relubricated on
the motor pinion and on the bearing
axle of the planetary gears after
250,000 screwdriving operations
(Grease 3 21 32 023 01 0).
Maintenance and repairs.
We recommend our customer service
department (repair centre), FEIN author-
ised service centres and agencies.
Addresses can be found at the end of
these operating instructions and in the
enclosed safety instructions.
Please hand these operating instructions
to the repair centre. An overview of spare
parts can be found at the end of these
operating instructions.
Upon request a repair manual is sent to
the electrical engineers.
Only use original FEIN spare parts.
Spare parts.
The overview of spare parts is at the end
of these operating instructions. Quoting
the parts no. (1), reference no. (2) as well
as the number of spare parts (3) facilitates
the ordering procedure.
Accessories.
Illustrations and reference numbers can be
found at the end of these instructions.
A Rubber cover for ASW 12-16
(only for the following angle heads:
3 12 06 118 01 8, 3 12 06 123 01 0,
3 12 06 124 01 8).
B Quick battery charger.
C Grease (10 ml).
Guarantee.
All the FEIN electric power tools are
tested carefully and are subject to the
stringent requirements of the quality con-
trol at FEIN.
In addition to the legal warranty we also
provide the FEIN manufacturer’s guaran-
tee. For further details on this, please con-
tact your specialist dealer, your national
FEIN representative, or the FEIN cus-
tomer service centre.
Damage due to improper handling, over-
loading or normal wear are generally not
covered by the guarantee.
Environmental protection.
Packaging, worn out power tools and
accessories should be recycled.
Do not throw old batter-
ies away in the house-
hold waste.
FEIN takes back used batteries for
re-cycling.
