1 Intended use
The extraction system is intended for the extraction
of dusts that are non-fl ammable, non-explosive
and not hazardous to health.
The dust extraction system is provided for extract-
ing paint dust.
When handling and extracting fl ammable or explo-
sive dusts or dusts that are hazardous to health,
the safety regulations applicable in your country as
well as the specifi cations of the material manufac-
turer must be observed without fail.
The extraction system must not be operated in
rooms where explosive dust or gas mixtures can
occur.
The extraction system is suitable for continuous
industrial operation.
The user is liable for damage and injury resulting
from incorrect usage!
1.1 Safety instructions
Only use original Festool accessories.
Do not use to extract aggressive liquids (e.g. acids,
alkalis, solvents).
Protect the cable against heat, oil and sharp edges.
The device may only be used by persons who have
been trained in its use and who are authorised to
do so.
Do not operate the machine without a fi lter fi tted
that complies with regulations.
The ventilation and blow-out slits must not be
covered.
2 Installation
For installation of the extraction system and rout-
ing the extraction pipes and outgoing air pipes,
numerous safety regulations and statutory building
requirements are to be observed (e.g. fi re preven-
tion, statics, ventilation and fl uid technics). For this
reason, this work should defi nitely be performed
by a specialist fi rm.
2.1 Setting up
The extraction system must be set up in
such a way that it is protected against
weather infl uences (in particular moisture,
frost, direct sunlight).
