Power cannot be turned
on.

No picture and sound.

Sound is heard with no
picture.

Picture is displayed with
no sound.

Color is weak and tint is
incorrect.

Picture is dark.

Picture is not clear.

Section 7: Troubleshooting

• The Main power is not turned on.
• The power cord is disconnected.
• 60 seconds have not elapsed since

the power was turned off.

• The setting of the input source is

not correct.

• RGB/Video/Audio wiring to

projector is not correct.

• RGB/Video/Audio wiring to

projector is not correct.

• The brightness is set fully to dark.
• Lens cap is on.

• Audio wiring to projector is not

correct.

• The volume is set to minimum.
• The unit is muted.
• PinP is on and audio is switched to

VIDEO mode.

• The color and tint have been

adjusted incorrectly.

• The brightness and contrast has

not been adjusted correctly.

• The lamp needs to be replaced.

• Projector is out of focus.

• Lamp will not ignite.

• Temperature inside projector is too

hot.

• Lamp access door on bottom of

case is open.

• The lamp operating hours have

reached maximum operating hours.

• Cooling fan not operating.

Cause

Symptom

• Turn the MAIN POWER switch on.
• Insert the power cord into an AC socket.
• Wait 60 seconds before turning on power.

• Set the correct input using the input select button of

the projector or the remote control.

• Connect the cable to correct input/output source.

• Connect the cable to correct input/output source.

• Press the MENU button and increase BRIGHTNESS.
• Remove lens cap.

• Connect the cable to correct input/output source.

• Press the VOL button to increase Volume.
• Press the MUTE button.
• Press VOLUME and move DISC PAD to switch to

audio input.

• Adjust the color and tint correctly.

• Adjust the brightness and contrast correctly.

• Replace the lamp with a new one.

• Adjust the focus and H PHASE.

• Turn off power and let cool for 20 minutes, then

restart.

• If problem persists call your dealer.

• Clear blocked ventilation holes.
• Clean air filter.

• Ensure lamp access door is closed.

• Replace the lamp.

• Contact your dealer.
