Firmware
Firmware refers to the operating software designed for your CD-R/RW drive. It is
stored in the drive’s flash memory so that it can be rewritten.
For the operation reliability, the latest firmware is available on the internet. For more
information about the latest firmware, refer to the following websites.

Checking the firmware version in your CRW-F1 drive
For Windows XP/2000 Professional
Use your CD writing software to check the firmware version.
For Windows 95/98/98 Second Edition/Me
In the Device Manager dialog box (P. 24), select YAMAHA CRW-F1E to display
the YAMAHA CRW-F1E Properties dialog box, and then select the Settings tab.
The revision number varies
depending on the default
firmware version.
