Computers in a specific Ad-Hoc network must be
configured to the same radio channel.
6 Set Up an Infrastructure Network
• Click on Configuration tab. Select Infrastructure under
Network Type.
• Select Channel. Click on AP Browser tab to view channel
quality under the Signal column. Change to a better channel
if necessary.
• Specify the SSID of a specific wireless LAN you wish to
connect to. Type ANY (all upper case) to connect to any
wireless LAN.
7 Encryption
ZyAIR 200 offers highly secure data transmission using WEP (Wired
Equivalent Privacy). Refer to User’s Guide for more information.
• Click Encryption tab. Select 64 Bit or 128 Bit under
Encryption.
• Create the encryption keys depending on the type of
encryption you choose.
• Select Wep key to use to activate a key.
To allow encrypted data communications, you must set the
same encryption key values on all wireless stations and/or
Access Points.
8 Driver Update
Download the latest driver and read the section relevant to your
Windows version.
