Attaching Grasscatcher to Mower
NOTE: Your mower was shipped with the rear mulching baffle in place on the mower. Remove the mulching baffle
in order to install and use the grass catcher. For instructions on how to bag the grass clippings, please refer to
page 14 of this manual.
• Lift the rear discharge door and remove the rear mulching baffle from the mower. See Figure 9.

• Hard Top Grass Bag: Holding open the rear discharge door as shown below, place the grass bag on the
pivot rod. See Figure 10A. Let go of the discharge door so that it rests on the grass bag.

• Soft Top Grass Bag: Place the hooks on the grass catcher into the slots in the handle bracket assemblies
on both sides. See Figure 10B. Release the rear discharge door.
• To remove the grass catcher, lift the rear discharge door on the mower. Lift the grass catcher up, out of the
slots in the handle bracket assemblies. Reinstall the rear mulching baffle and release the rear discharge door.
Converting from Mulching to Side Discharge
• To convert to a side discharge mower, lift the side mulching plug.
