6. Set up
FLEXIBLE HOSE and SWIVEL JOINT
1. Connect the blower and swivel joint with flexible hose.
Clamp both ends of the flexible hose securely with
the hardware supplied with the unit.
NOTE
A light lubricant may be used to ease assembly of
flexible pipe to blower elbow.
CONTROL HANDLE
• Set up the handle holder to the swivel joint and tighten
the screw on the handle holder.
CABLING
• Use the clamp to fasten the colgate tube containing
the throttle cable and the power cable to the flexible
hose.
BLOW PIPES
• Connect the swivel joint, straight pipe and pipe end.
Push the pipes together and turn them so they lock in
relation to one another until the connection is locked.
WAIST BELT
• The waist belt is attached to the rings on the left and
right sides of the frame.
• Be sure to always tighten the buckle in front of your
body.
WARNING
• If you are not using a waist belt, be sure to remove it
from the unit and store it.
• There is a risk that the belt will be caught, toppling
the unit.
• There is a danger that the belt will be sucked into the
fan.
