To record tuner programs

Load a blank cassette tape into the tape “b” cassette
compartment.

Set the TIMER switch to the REC position.

Perform steps 1 – 5 of the “To listen to the tuner” section
on the previous page.

Recording starts automatically at the desired time.
Notes
• The power will be automatically turned off 2 hours after
the timer starts.
• To set the desired volume level for listening to a source
with the timer, use the VOLUME control before setting the
timer.
• Except when you perform recording with the timer, be
sure to set the TIMER switch to the PLAY position.
To confirm the timer time setting
Press the DISPLAY button.
To cancel the timer operation
Press the POWER switch.

The “TIMER” indicator will go out.
* Unless the AC supply lead is unplugged or there is a
power failure, the time set on the timer will be retained
until it is reset.
