Replacing a handset
When you are replacng rather than addng a handset, you need to delete
all the handset regstratons from the telephone base for the handsets to be
numbered sequentally.
To delete the regstraton on all handsets:
1. Press the
MENU softkey on the telephone base when n dle mode to
enter the man menu.
2. Press the UP and DOWN NavKeys to select Settings, then press the
SELECT softkey to enter the Settings menu.
3. Press the UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Delete Handsets, then
press the SELECT softkey. The screen wll show Delete Registration
of all handsets?
4. Press the YES softkey. The telephone base screen wll dsplay
[ Registration of all handsets deleted ] and the handset screen wll
dsplay Place in Charger.
After deletng the regstratons of all handsets, you wll need to regster each
handset ndvdually wth the telephone base (see page 4 for regstraton
nstructons).
