Indicates the type of t a p e used.

DBX Button

Cue Button

t h e n e x t "muted" or unrecorded

s e c t i o n ( t a p e silence of f o u r
seconds or m o r e ) , where t h e
deck w i l l a u t o m a t i c a l l y stop.

Mute Button

Pressing and holding t h e m u t e
b u t t o n during t a p e t r a v e l (while
in t h e recording mode) will
provide a "silent" section on t h e
tape for use w i t h t h e cuing
f u n c t i o n ; releasing t h e b u t t o n
will restore selected recording
levels. It is essential t h a t t h e

"muted" section c o n t i n u e for at
least f o u r seconds to enable t h e
cue f u n c t i o n to operate cor-
rectly.

Pause Button

This b u t t o n is used t o stop t h e
t a p e t r a v e l t e m p o r a r i l y d u r i n g
recording or p l a y b a c k .

Recording Button

Pressing b o t h t h e PLAY and t h i s
b u t t o n p u t s u n i t in t h e recording
mode.

Rewind Button

R e w i n d s t h e t a p e at h i g h speed.

Stop Button
Stops t h e t a p e m o t i o n .

Fluorescent Bargraph Meter
The h i g h i n t e n s i t y meters enable
v i s u a l m o n i t o r i n g of t h e o u t p u t
signals selected w i t h t h e Level
M e t e r Selector S w i t c h .

Recording Level Sliders
Sets t h e o v e r a l l s i g n a l level of

t h e stereo L and R recording
busses d u r i n g t h e recording
process; t h i s i n c l u d e s t h e level
assigned t o t h e ; REC OUT j a c k s
as well as t h e ; i n t e r n a l t a p e deck.

Fast Forward Button

Playback Button
