Configuring SSL (Windows Server 2008)
1. Generate a Certificate Request
If your company does not have a X.509 certificate, or does not have one for the Portal
Server, a new certificate request must first be created.

To generate a certificate request:
1. From the Portal Server, start the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. Click the server name and double click
Server Certificates
in the pane on the right side.
3. In the Actions column on the right, click
Create Certificate Request
.
