Advanced operation
Character chart
Use the dial pad and the chart below to enter a name (up to 16 characters). Each press of a particular
key causes the characters to be displayed in the following order:
Press
MUTE/REMOVE to backspace and erase when entering characters.
Press and hold
MUTE/REMOVE to delete the entire entry.

• When entering
a name in the
directory, the first
letter of each word
will be capitalized
automatically.
• Press the left or
right
NavKey
or
to move the
cursor one space to
the left or right.
• Press
#
to enter a
space.
