Selection of initial settings
Press SETUP in the stop or playback mode.
The SETUP menu is displayed.
Press D D / E E to select the desired item.
The screen will show the current setting for the
selected item, and the alternate setting(s).
• Disc Audio (see page 34.)
• Disc Subtitle (see page 34.)
• Disc Menu (see page 34.)
• Rating (see page 35.)
• Password (see page 36.)
• TV Aspect (see page 37.)
• Menu Language (see page 38.)
• Progressive Scan (see page 39.)
• Digital Audio Output (see page 40.)
• Others (see page 41.)
Press G G and then D D / E E to select the desired
setting and press ENTER.

respective page.)
When the alternate setting is selected the screen returns to
the Initial Settings display.
To exit SETUP menu
Press SETUP, RETURN or PLAY.
Once the initial settings have been completed,
the player can always be operated under the
same conditions (especially with DVD discs).
The settings will be retained in the memory until
they are changed, even if the power is switched
off.
