To use the RF connector
If your television does not have any video and audio input, you
will need to use the radio frequency output from the digital
receiver.
In this case, you will need to connect a ca-
ble from the RF OUT socket to the antenna
connector on your television. To ensure your
television can also pick up existing analogue
channels as well, you will need to connect a
cable from your television antenna to the RF
IN
connector.
Tune your television set to channel 36 (or
rarely 43) so that you can see the output from
the digital receiver.
2.4.3
Connecting to your video cassette recorder
The digital receiver can also output video to another appliance
such as a video cassette recorder or video receiver through an
auxiliary SCART connector.
You will need to obtain a SCART cable to use
the auxiliary SCART connector. Plug one end
of the cable into the VCR socket on the digital
receiver, and the other end into the match-
ing socket on your video cassette recorder or
suchlike.
