Setting the pitch value (ii)
To set the pitch
value from the remote control unit:

Press either of the
PITCH +
or
–
keys on the
remote control unit when drive 1 is not in
menu mode.
NOTE
The pitch changes made in this way (or on the main
unit) do not take effect if the PITCH indicator is not lit.
ISRC view (drive 2 only)
On drive 2, the ISRC code (see “ISRC copy” on
page 15 for more information about this code), if
present on the disc, can be displayed during play-
back, if the
FINALIZE
key is pressed while playback
is taking place.
RID view (drive 2 only)
The RID (recorder identification data)

, if present,
can be shown for discs playing back on drive 2.
Press the
ERASE
key while playback is taking place
to display this data.
Auto Ready function
This function allows the playing back of a single
track, and the automatic cueing of the next track
ready for playback.
The unit is cued to the start of the track as determined
by the subcode, not the start of the audio signal,
unless the
AUTO CUE
function is on (see “Auto Cue
The unit will enter pause mode in the continue, shuf-
fle and programmed play modes, after the location
has taken place.
If repeat is active (see “Repeat playback” on
page 24), the unit will enter play ready mode at the
start of the next track (
REPEAT ALL
), or the start of the
track which is being repeated (
REPEAT 1
).
To set the function:

When the function is on, the
A-READY
display indica-
tor is lit.
Auto Cue function
The Auto Cue function allows you to set up the unit
so that when a track is selected for playback in pause
mode (cued), playback will start, not at the first posi-
tion of the track as indicated by the subcode, but at
the first position of the track where the audio level
exceeds a set trigger level.
The trigger level is set as follows:

1. The first three digits of the RID are assigned
as the Manufacturer Code, the next four digits
as the Type Code, and the last five digits as the
Recorder Unique Number. TEAC’s Manufac-
turer Code is “TCJ”.
