Connecting to a TV set
Basic connection
It is recommended to connect a multi- system TV.
Ensure that this pla yer an d othe r equipment to be connected are set to the O FF m ode an d
discon nect t he AC adaptor befo re com menc ing connecti on.
Do no t block ventil ation h oles of equip ment and ar range them s o that air can circu late fr eely.
Read through the i nstructions b efore conne cting o ther equipm ent.
Ensure that you observe the color cod ing wh en co nnecti ng aud io and video cables.
During DVD play, t he TV volume may be at a lower level than d uring T V broadcast s, etc.
If this i s the c ase, adjust t he vol ume to the desired level.
If the D VD/VCD/CD playe r is co nnect ed to the TV throug h a video cas sette record er,
the pic ture may not be played back no rmally with s ome D VDs. If this is the c ase,
do not conne ct the player via the VCR .

2. Press A-B RE PEAT button at the point w here repeat play i s to be ended (B). R epeat play o f

3. Press A-B RE PEAT button once a gain t o return to normal play.
