Hardware installation for RNX-N300X
1.
Turn off desktop PC and disconnect the power
2.
Open the PC case and locate an available PCI slot on the motherboard. Remove the
metal slot cover on the back of the PC. Check with the computer manufacturer for
instructions if needed.
3.
Slide the PCI adapter into the PCI slot. Make sure that all of its pins are connected to the
slot’s contacts. Once the adapter is firmly in place, secure its fastening tab to your PC’s
chassis with a mounting screw. Then, close the PC case.
4.
Reconnect the PC’s Power and turn on the desktop.
If the Found New Hardware Wizard appears when Windows starts, click Cancel.

Install the PCI Adapter Driver on Windows XP
1.
With the computer on and Windows running, insert the Installation CD into the CD-ROM
drive. The Wireless 11g PCI Adapter Installation Manager Setup menu will appear.
