That’s why the Aficio 2232C/2238C can be configured
with a finisher that folds and staples output into complete
booklets, ensuring your documents stand out.
Ricoh also offers a 2,000-sheet Multi-Tray Finisher that
collates and staples documents together for the more
traditional finishing options. Both finishers can be optionally
outfitted with hole punching for even greater convenience.

The RICOH® Aficio® 2232C/2238C are conveniently configured to handle the
typical range of office tasks right out of the box—copying, printing and scanning are
all standard. No hidden costs. Workgroups have different needs and requirements,
and with the 2232C/2238C, you can configure the system to best suit your
environment. You can select from different document finishing options, additional
paper sources, wireless connectivity, and fax.
Productivity In Printing and Copying
More often than not, you need your prints or copies immediately. The Aficio 2232C/2238C output the first page in just 8 seconds for
black & white and 10 seconds for full color. They also deliver an outstanding 32/38 black & white pages per minute, and 24/28 color pages per
minute in both print and copy modes. Even better, they maintain the same imaging speed in duplex mode, saving you time, paper and money!
Multiple Choices in Document Distribution
The Aficio 2232C/2238C have been designed for the Internet age. Besides being able to print and copy, these systems can scan documents
and images directly to folders and FTP servers, or send them as E-mail attachments to colleagues—all without extra options or dedicated delivery
servers. The 2232C/2238C also support LDAP, which uses your existing E-mail system.
The 2232C/2238C can be configured with an optional Fax module
to expand the systems’ functionality. Faxes can be handled as paper-
based documents, or routed digitally directly to your PC. Again, without
dedicated distribution servers or utility software. Lastly, you can also
transmit faxes over the Internet to eliminate long-distance phone
charges altogether.
A Shared Network Resource
The Aficio 2232C/2238C are designed to fit in seamlessly with your
organization’s infrastructure and work the way you work. Of course,
there’s a 10/100 BaseTX network interface that supports industry
standards such as TCP/IP and Novell IPX/SPX. For organizations using
print servers, there’s also a parallel connection.
With the 2232C/2238C, you don’t have to plug into a network
at all to take advantage of its printing and optional faxing capabilities.
Ricoh offers IEEE 802.11b and Bluetooth wireless options that enable
you to take your laptop and/or PDA to conference rooms, or enable
visiting users to print to the 2232C/2238C.
Ricoh also offers two high-speed serial options that transmit large
volumes of data without impacting your network. You can choose from
USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394, which deliver up to 480 and 400 Mbps
transmission rates, respectively.

Duplexing is standard on the Aficio 2232C/2238C. But the real advantage of duplexing on these Ricoh systems
is that you maintain output speed and don’t compromise productivity while conserving paper.
Designed to support the diverse needs of an office workgroup, the 2232C/2238C supports paper sizes of up 12" x 18"
in weights from 16 lb. bond to 90 lb. index.
With a standard paper input capacity of 1,100 sheets, you can add either a 1,000-sheet multi-tray or a 2,000-sheet
LCT option for a maximum capacity of 3,100 sheets.
Efficiently Manage Your Resources
Monitor and manage the Aficio 2232C/2238C right from your desktop. With Web Image Monitor, you can view the status
of the system, and its availability. It can be used to alert you of any service issues, required toner replacement, or if the
system is off-line. Further, Web Image Monitor allows you to view and manage files on the system’s Document Server.
