he VX-1000d, VX-4000d and VX-5000d represent Runco’s ultimate expression of performance within the
Reflection™ Portfolio of single-chip DlP™ projectors.
these models share Runco’s most advanced 1280 x 720 single-chip light engine design. this includes a
sophisticated color balancing system resulting in the industry’s best gray scale tracking. Additionally, they
incorporate RVR™, or Reflectance Volume Regulation, which provides for variable adjustment of the light path through the
optics, enabling the perfect blend of black and white levels for each individual installation.
to ensure a perfect image can reach the screen even in installations where the projector cannot be placed exactly centered on the vertical plane,
the VX-1000d offers vertical lens shift capability as well as versatile zoom optics to provide fore and aft placement options. the VX-4000d
and VX-5000d feature Runco’s AxiShift™ technology to enable horizontal as well as vertical offset correction for even greater
placement versatility.
the VX-4000d includes cinoptx™ Proteus high definition lenses available in six different throw distance ranges. these
premium lenses offer superior performance and light path efficiency. the VX-5000d goes one step further, offering world
class cinoptx Telesto lenses usually associated with the most expensive professional screening applications. telesto optics are
available in five distinct throw distance ranges to accommodate a wide variety of installation requirements.
State-of-the-art video processing and system control for these three models is handled by Runco’s award winning DHD controller, the same
controller/processor supplied with our most elite systems.
