frequencies. Avoid programming fre-
quencies listed under
“Birdie Frequencies” on
Page 34, or only listen to
them manually.
SQUELCH might
not be set properly. Be sure SQUELCH is ad-
justed properly. See “Turn-
ing On the Scanner/Setting
Volume and Squelch” on
Page 22.
