Search for POI
A search for a specific point of interest may be conducted one of three ways:
Nearby Searches for destinations located within a given radius of your current
location. This feature is useful for locating destinations such the next
gas station or closest hospital.
In a City Searches for destinations located within a given city. This feature is
useful for locating hotels, restaurants, etc. when navigating in an
unfamiliar town.
Nationwide
Searches for destinations of nationwide significance. This feature is
useful for locating airports, national monuments, etc.
Note: GPS reception must be sufficient for determining position. You can determine if GPS
reception is sufficient by looking at the (GPS Ready) symbol.
1. From the MAIN WINDOW, tap New Destination. A menu will appear with your options for
entering your destination.
2. Tap Search for POI. An additional menu will appear giving you the option to search
Nearby, in a City, or Nationwide.
