CHAINGUARDS (Optional Equipment at Extra Cost)
CHAINGUARDS: Front and Rear Chainguards (Optional Equipment) are recommended for higher than normal
usage (100 hours or more per year) and will provide protection from thrown objects with careful operation.
Chainguards must be maintained in good repair by replacing missing or worn sections or by being replaced
when seriously worn or damaged. Figure Asm-R-0295 & Asm-R-0296
Front Chainguard
Attach the right and left Chainguard assemblies (1)
to the mower with 1/2” x 1-1/4” bolts(2),
Lockwashers (4), and Flatwashers (3). Then attach
Chainguard Brackets, left (10) and right (9) to
mower with 1/2” x 1-1/4” Bolts (2). Flatwashers (3),
and Locknuts (4).
Rear Chainguard
Attach the right and left Chainguard assemblies 91)
to the mower with 1/2” x 1-1/4” Bolts (2),
Flatwashers (3), and Locknuts (4).
