NSTALLATION
1. Make sure that the power supply cord is plugged into the POWER 12V
DC jack on the base and into an AC outlet.
2. Plug the telephone line cord into the PHONE LINE jack on the base and
into a modular jack.
3. Slide the base RINGER switch to ON if you want the unit to ring for
incoming calls. (The RINGER switch is located on the same side of the
base as the antenna.)
4. Raise the base antenna.
NOTE : The phone automatically defaults to touch-tone dialing. To change to
pulse (rotary) dialing, see “Tone/Pulse Dialing. If you don’t know which type
of service you have, check with the phone company.
NOTE: For convenience, attach the headset hook to the slots at the back of
the base. You can rest the headset here when you are not using it.
