Adjusting the display screen contrast
You can adjust the contrast using the Local Tools menu; however, Nortel
recommends that you use the Telephone Options menu.
Note: If an Expansion Module is attached to your IP Phone 1230,
changes that you make to the LCD screen contrast of the
IP Phone 1230 also apply to the display screen contrast configuration
of the Expansion Module.
Use the following procedure to adjust the display screen contrast.
5. Press the Select soft key to save the
volume level and return to the
Telephone Options menu.

Press the Cancel soft key to cancel the
modifications.
1. Press the Services key, select
Telephone Options , and select
Contrast adjustment .

2. To increase or decrease the display
contrast level, press the
Left or Right
keys.
3. Press the Select soft key to save the
changes and return to the Telephone
Options menu.
