• PIN2 code: This code may be supplied with the SIM card and is
required to access some functions, such as charging unit counters.
Change the security code, PIN code, and PIN2 code in
Access codes
in
the
Security settings
menu. Keep the new codes secret and in a safe
place separate from your phone.
• PUK and PUK2 codes: These codes may be supplied with the SIM card.
If this is not the case, contact your service provider.
• Barring password: This code is needed when using the
Call barring
service
function in the
Security settings
menu.
■ Light alerts
The display and keypad lights notify you of different phone functions by
flashing. The following phone functions are examples of when lights are
used:
• An incoming call arrives.
• An incoming SMS or multimedia message arrives.
• A calendar note or countdown timer expires, or the alarm clock or low
battery activates an alarm.
You can activate the light alerts using the
Light sequences
function in the
Profiles
menu, see page
