Phone settings
Select Menu > Settings > Phone settings and one of the following options:
• Language —To select the language for the display texts
• Keyguard settings .
• Automatic keyguard > On to activate the automatic keyguard
Enter the delay time in the format of minutes:seconds, and select OK .
You can set the time from 10 seconds to 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
To deactivate the automatic keyguard, select
Off .
• Keyguard code to activate the security keyguard
Enter the security code, and select OK . After you have selected On ,
the phone asks for the security code every time you select Unlock . To
deactivate the security keyguard, select Off .
• Network selection —To set the phone to automatically select a cellular
network available in your area, or you can select the network manually.
• Start-up tone —To switch on or off the tone that sounds when the phone
is powered on
• Welcome note —To enter a message that will be shown briefly on the
display when the phone is switched on
• Confirm SIM service actions . For more information, contact your service
provider.
