Detour All: (available only when edit mode is activated): Sets all the traffic
messages along the route to the status Detour.
Calculate Optimised Route: (available only when edit mode is activated): Sets
all the traffic messages along the route to the status ' New'. On this
basis the navigation system will calculate an 'Optimised Route' and will
assign to each traffic message the status which results from the
calculation (Detour or Ignore).
Info: Opens a window which gives you possible reasons for poor TMC
reception.
9.7.8 Settings (Traffic Information)
1. Open the T
RAFFIC
window (see "Displaying traffic information" on
page 78).

window you can make the following settings:
Route Optimisation
Here you can configure whether and how you want the reception of
traffic messages to affect the navigation.

Automatic: An alternative route will be calculated automatically. The
system will inform you on the recalculation.
►
On Request: An announcement from the navigation device tells you
that a traffic message concerns your route. On the screen the
Traffic Information box indicates the distance to the reported traffic
obstruction.
►
Never: All the traffic messages along your route are ignored.
Announce Traffic Events
This setting is available only when the On Request option is selected for
the Route Optimisation setting. Here you can configure whether traffic
messages are indicated only if they are likely to result in a certain time
loss.

Only for time loss > 5 min.
►
Only for time loss > 15 min.
