Read these simple guidelines. Not

SWITCH ON SAFELY

Do not switch the device on

when wireless phone use is

prohibited or when it may

cause interference or danger.

ROAD SAFETY COMES FIRST

Obey all local laws. Always keep

your hands free to operate the

vehicle while driving. Your first

consideration while driving

should be road safety.

INTERFERENCE

All wireless devices may be

susceptible to interference,

which could affect

performance.

SWITCH OFF IN RESTRICTED AREAS

Follow any restrictions. Switch

the device off in aircraft, near

medical equipment, fuel,

chemicals, or blasting areas.

QUALIFIED SERVICE

Only qualified personnel may

install or repair this product.

ACCESSORIES AND BATTERIES

Use only approved accessories

and batteries. Do not connect

incompatible products.

Durability

Your device is made for rough ambient

conditions. It is tested and certified

according to the international standard

IEC 60529/level IP54 regarding water and

dust protection and according to IEC

60068-2-27 regarding shock protection.
Accessories to be used with this device do

not meet the same durability, dust-

resistance, or water-resistance

specifications as the device itself. For

example, all the chargers are only to be

used in dry conditions. They should never

be used when damp or wet.
Using your device in wet or dusty

conditions

Water-resistance means resistance

against clean freshwater only. Do not

expose the device to any other type of

liquid. For example, do not expose the

device to ocean water, drinks, mud, or

liquid chemicals or detergents.

Do not submerge the device in water.

Do not expose the device to hot water.

If the device has been exposed to

water, wipe it off with a dry cloth. If it

has been exposed to salt water or

other liquid, splash immediately

some clean freshwater on the device.

The device must be carefully wiped

dry.

Never connect anything to the bottom

connectors if they are dusty, wet or

damp. For example, never charge the

device when the bottom connectors

are wet or damp. Never try to connect

anything to the connectors by using

force as this may break the device.

Before opening the back cover (1),

clean and dry the device to prevent
