Press to return to the previous display when
the SET-UP MENU is displayed.
6 AUDIO button
Press to change the audio language during
DVD playback.
7 DISP button
Press to change the information display
while the DVD player is playing as the
source.
8 SUBTITLE (S.TITILE)button
Press to change the subtitle language dur-
ing DVD playback.
9 ANGLE button
Press to change the viewing angle during
DVD playback.
a PLAY/PAUSE (f)button
Press to switch sequentially between play-
back and pause.
b REVERSE (m)button
Press to perform fast reverse playback or
seek tuning while the tuner is playing as the
source.
c PREVIOUS (o)/F (function) button
When the remote control is set to DVD
mode, press to return to the previous track
(chapter). If the remote control is set to
DVH mode, the function menu appears on
the head unit display.
d NUMBER buttons
Press to directly select the desired track,
chapter, preset tuning and disc. 16 buttons
can operate the preset tuning for the tuner
or disc number search for the multi-CD
player.
e DIRECT button
Press to do direct channel select.
f SOURCE button
This unit is turned on by selecting a source.
Press to cycle through all the available
sources.
g Joystick
Move to select the setting. Click to set the
setting or select on or off.
h Remote control operation mode switch
Switch the operation mode between DVD
mode (only the DVD player can be operated
by the remote control) or DVH mode (all
sources of this unit can be operated by the
remote control). (Refer to page 14.)
i BAND button
Press to select among three FM bands and
one AM band and to cancel the control
mode of functions.
j BOOKMARK (BOOK.M)button
DVH mode
Press to operate the preprogrammed func-
tions for each source. (Refer to Using the
DVD mode
Press to turn the bookmark function on or
off. For details, refer to Resume playback
k STEP (r/q)button
Press to move ahead one frame at a time
during DVD/VideoCD playback. Press and
hold for one second to activate slow play-
back.
l ATT button
Press to quickly lower the volume level, by
about 90%. Press once more to return to the
original volume level.
