Brake Lever Travel
Check brake lever travel at the intervals recommended in the Periodic Maintenance Chart
beginning on page 98. When freeplay specifications can no longer be obtained through
adjustment as outlined on the preceding pages, use the following information to determine
when to service the brakes.
Service the brakes when brake
lever travel reaches the total lever
travel measurement listed in the
table below. Always service the
brakes when there is no longer
sufficient stopping ability at the
specified lever travel setting.
