How to Use the On Screen Display (OSD)

R OTARY D EFAULT allows you to pick the feature your R OTARY knob
will default to when not used in adjusting your O N S CREEN
D ISPLAY . The normal default is brightness. To select your R OTARY D EFAULT ,
follow the steps below.

After returning to A DVANCED C ONTROLS . . .
. . . to continue to M OIRE , turn the R OTARY knob until M OIRE is
highlighted. Next, follow steps 3 - 5 under M OIRE .
. . . to exit completely, press the OSD button and hold for 1.5
seconds. (See page 15 for other exit options.)

M OIRE is a fringe pattern arising from the interference between
two superimposed line patterns. To adjust your M OIRE , follow
the steps below. Note: Use only if necessary. By activating M OIRE ,
sharpness can be affected.

...to select V ERTICAL M OIRE or to turn M OIRE off, follow the steps
above, selecting V ERTICAL M OIRE or MOIRE OFF IN STEP 4.
After returning to A DVANCED C ONTROLS . . .
. . . to continue to V ERTICAL L INEARITY , turn the R OTARY knob until V ERTICAL
L INEARITY icon is highlighted. Next, follow steps 4 - 5 under V ERTICAL
L INEARITY (on the next page).
