D ue to reasons such as poor cable
reception, the picture can some-
time appear slightly “speckled” (signal
noise in the picture). The DNR
(Dynamic Noise Reduction) control can
help eliminate this type of interference
and improve the quality of the picture.
Press the MENU button on the
remote to show the onscreen menu.
Press the CURSOR DOWN ■
button until the word FEATURES is
highlighted.
Press the CURSOR RIGHT ᮣᮣ
button and the menu will shift to the
left, TIMER will be highlighted.
Press the CURSOR DOWN ■ to
highlight the DNR control.
Press the CURSOR RIGHT ᮣᮣ
button again to highlight the DNR
option area.
Press the CURSOR UP ᮣ or CUR-
SOR DOWN ■ buttons to turn the
DNR feature ON or OFF.

T he Contrast + feature helps to
“sharpen” the picture quality. The
black portions of the picture become
richer in darkness and the whites become
brighter.
Press the MENU button on the
remote to show the onscreen menu.
Press the CURSOR DOWN ■ but-
ton until the word FEATURES is high-
lighted.
Press the CURSOR RIGHT ᮣᮣ
button and the menu will shift to the
left. TIMER will be highlighted.
Press the CURSOR DOWN ■ but-
ton to highlight the CONTRAST + con-
trol.
Press the CURSOR RIGHT ᮣᮣ
button again to highlight the CON-
TRAST + option area.
Press the CURSOR UP ᮣ or CUR-
SOR DOWN ■ buttons to turn the
CONTRAST + feature ON or OFF.
Press the STATUS/EXIT button to
remove the menu from the screen.
