Finding and calling from a
phonebook entry

Once you have found the desired entry using one
of the following 3 methods, make a call with your
unit.
Base unit: Lift the corded handset.
R You can also make a call by pressing MLINE 1N
or MLINE 2N, then lifting the corded handset.
Handset: M N
R You can also make a call by pressing MCALLN,
then pressing MLINE 1N or MLINE 2N.
Scrolling through all entries
1 Proceed with the operation for your unit.

2 MbN: Select the desired entry.
Searching by first character
1 Proceed with the operation for your unit.
Base unit: M

Press the dial key (0 – 9) which contains
the character you are searching for (page 23).
R Press the same dial key repeatedly to
display the first entry corresponding to each
character located on that dial key.
R If there is no entry corresponding to the
character you selected, the next entry is
displayed.
3 MbN: Scroll through the phonebook if
necessary.
Searching by group
1 Proceed with the operation for your unit.

3 MbN: Select the group you want to search. a

R If you select “All groups”, the unit ends
the group search.
