Stopping the Engine
1. Release the throttle completely.
2. Apply the brakes until the vehicle stops moving.
3. Stop the engine.
4. Lock the parking brake.
NOTE:
There are three ways to stop the engine.
• Turn the key off.
• Push the engine stop switch down.
• Pull the tether strap off the ATV.
NOTE:
To avoid draining the battery, always turn the key to the OFF position when the engine is not
running.
WARNING
A rolling vehicle can cause property damage and serious injury. Always apply the parking brake
after stopping the engine.
