MAINTENANCE
Transmission Oil
Always check and change the transmission oil at the intervals outlined
in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 60. Maintain the
oil level within the SAFE operating range on the dipstick. We
recommend the use of Premium AGL Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant.
See page 111 for the part numbers of Polaris products.
Oil Check
The transmission oil dipstick (1)
is located on the right side of the
vehicle.
1. Position the vehicle on a
level surface.
2. Remove the dipstick and
wipe it clean.
3. Reinstall the dipstick
completely, then remove it
and check the level.
4. Add the recommended lubricant to
bring the level into the safe operating range (2).
5. Reinstall the dipstick.
