Erasing the contents of a
program one by one
With , designate the
numbers that you want to erase.
Press
CLEAR
.
The designated numbers are erased and the next num-
bers are moved forward one by one.
÷ To start program playback, press
PLAY
. To end a program,
press RETURN .

Adding a program
With , designate the
place where you want to insert.
Press the number button.
The designated number moves back and a new number
is inserted.
÷ To start program playback, move the cursor to the number
where you want playback to start and press PLAY . To end a
program, press RETURN .
÷ When all of the program (24 steps) has been input, add af-
ter erasing with CLEAR .

To stop program play
Press
CLEAR
during play.
Normal playback starts from the chapter/track currently
playing.
Notes
÷ When the disc table is opened, the program will be com-
pletely erased. With DVD, a program that you want to save
can be recorded in this player (page 24).
÷ When
CLEAR
is pressed while stopped, the entire program is
erased.

Programming a pause
Press
PAUSE
in the program input
screen.
“ 8” is displayed and a pause is programmed.
÷ When a pause is programmed, it pauses at the start of the
title, chapter/track programmed next. To continue program
playback, press
PLAY
.
Notes
÷ It is not possible to program a pause at the beginning and at
the end of a program.
÷ It is not possible to program a pause two or more times in a
row.

Press
MEMORY

With a DVD, press again and select “Pro-
gram Chapter” or “Program Title”.
