Machine regularly over heats - the-
mostat opens, Yellow light on front
panel glows. The fan runs but
machine has no output.
Output current reduced significantly
when AC Balance control knob is set
near or at max. penetration or when
Output control is set near or at full
output.
1. Welding application may exceed
recommended duty cycle. Reduce
the duty cycle.
2. Dirt and dust may have clogged
the cooling channels inside the
machine. Blow out unit with clean,
dry low pressure air.
3. Air vents and exhaust louvers may
be blocked due to inadequate
clearance around machine.
1. Input power to machine doesnʼt
have sufficient capacity. Try
changing Input power to a suffi-
cient supply, refer to Installation
section.
2. Machine is powered from an
engine generator or an engine
welder. If welding at high currents
are needed, try powering machine
from electricity grid instead of
engine generator.
3. Set AC Balance control at Auto
Balance position.
If all recommended possible areas of
misadjustment have been checked
and the problem persists, Contact
your local Lincoln Authorized
Field Service Facility.
