Handling a Call in Progress
If you are on a call and are walking from one zone to another, and the voice
quality begins to deteriorate, do the following:
1 Tell the party on your call that you are putting him/her on hold.
2 Press H ol d .
3 Press O n/ O f f to turn the handset off.
4 Wait a few seconds for the handset display to go blank.
5 Press O n/ O f f to turn the handset back on upon entering the other zone.
6 Retrieve the call on hold. The connection will be re-established.
Note: If you do not put the call on hold as you are walking between
zones, the call is automatically put on hold (so that you are able
to pick the call back up from the next zone).
