► Memory status:
You can check what percentage
of the phone’s internal memory is
unoccupied and how messages
can still be stored in the SIM
card or Phone’s memory.
Note
To complete the Message Settings,
contact your network service operator.
Chat
Menu 5.3
You can chat with friends with this
feature. There are 2 chat rooms in
your cell phone.
Before chatting, you need to do the
following steps:
1. From the main menu, select
Messaging and press OK.
2. Select Chat and then press OK.
3. Select Chat Room 1 or Chat
Room 2 and press Options.
4. Select Chat Room Info and
press OK.
5. Create a nickname by pressing
Edit and press Options.
6. Press Done and select Remote

7. Press Search and select a
contact from the contact list.
8. Then press OK and press Yes.
To start chatting
1. After chat room is set (See Chat
on page 63), use the navigation
keys to select Messaging and
press OK from the main menu.
2. Select Chat and then press OK.
3. Select Options > Start New, and
press OK.
4. Enter a message and press
Options.
5. Select Send and press OK.
6. After sending the message, the
Chat room is activated.
7. Your chat can now begin.
Your phone provides the following
selections when you start to chat.
► Send: Send message you have
written.
► Use template: Inserts a template
in your SMS template option.
