1 Returns to the Control screen of the previous
source.
2 Calls the Setup Menu. (see page 57)
3 Calls the Sound Effects Menu.
4 PCM Center
If you set to "On", a sound is output from the center
speaker.
5 Turns the Dolby Pro Logic function on or off.
6 Turns the Bi Phantom function on or off.
If you set to on, the signal of the center channel is
controlled so that it can be exactly positioned.
7 Sets up the dynamic range when the Dolby Digital
sound is used.
If you set to "On", it compresses the dynamic range
to control loud sounds.
8 The DSP unit settings return to default.
• The Dolby Pro Logic and PCM Center functions
are effective when the 2ch PCM signal is used.
• You can set up the Bi Phantom function when the
Dolby Pro Logic function is on.

4 Turns the Zone Function (that sets different source
sounds for front and rear speakers) On or Off.
When turned On,

5 Sets the front and rear audio source separately.
(This button appears when the Zone function is On.)
When the rear speaker sound is switched, the
audio source that is output at the AV OUTPUT
terminal is also switched to the same source.
However, if you have set the "Area" to "Reverse",
the audio source that is output at the AV OUTPUT
terminal is switched depending on the front sound
source.
6 Switches the front and rear audio sources.
(This button appears when the Zone function is On.)
Use "Reverse" to change over the front and rear
audio sources.
• If the zone function is turned on, the [F] / [R]
button appears on each source control screen,
with which you can adjust the volume balance
between the front and rear sources.
• If you select DVD as the main source when the
optional accessory DSP unit is connected, no
DVD sound is output from the sub-source.
