Supplies Monitoring
Several methods for viewing supply levels are available:
Control panel message window
Machine status list (magicolor 2480MF) or configuration page
(magicolor 2490MF)
PageScope Web Connection (magicolor 2490MF)
Control Panel Message Window
When the machine is functioning normally, press the Display key once
to display a rough indication in the control panel’s message window of
the level in each toner cartridge.
The control panel also alerts you when a toner cartridge or the drum
cartridge is nearing the end of its life and when it needs to be replaced.
In each case, the two lines of the message display alternately in the
message window.
