Timer recording special case
Weekly (e.g. WKL-TU: each Tuesday) or daily (e.g. MO-SA:
Monday to Saturday) Timer recording.
Follow the procedure of timer recording on the previous page.
On step 4, press [
4 ] or [ 5 ] repeatedly until the desired setting
appears. Then press [ENTER].
When you press [ 5 ] repeatedly, the indicator at DATE will change
as follows, in this case the day is Friday.
The current day (Friday) SU-SA (Sunday to Saturday)
MO-SA (Monday to Saturday)
One month later minus one day
MO-FR (Monday to Friday)
WKL-WE (Weekly Wednesday) WKL-TH (Weekly Thursday)

In case Timer programs-overlap
•
Do not overlap timer programs as portions of the conflicting
programs will be lost. The first recording time has priority over
the next recording time as shown in the diagram below.

Notes:
•
The daily/weekly recording can be made continuously until
the recording is canceled or the tape reaches the end.
• During timer recording the automatic rewinding mechanism
does not function.
Confirmation/Cancellation of the Timer recording
1. If the Timer has been activated, press [TIMER REC] to
deactivate the Timer.
The clock symbol (
) on the FL display will disappear.
2. Press [VCR] to change to VCR mode.
3. To confirm Timer program:
On step 2 on the previous page, select “TIMER REC SET”
and press [ENTER].
Then the timer program list below will appear on the TV
screen.

4. To cancel Timer program:
Press [ 4 ] or [ 5 ] to select the unnecessary program, then
press [CLEAR/CANCEL] to cancel the program.

5. Press [SETUP/MENU] until the menu screen is cleared.

Notes:
•
If there are other timer record programs remaining, [TIMER
REC] must be pressed to reactivate the timer, otherwise the
remaining timer record programs will be ignored.
• You cannot confirm the Timer program during timer recording
operation.
• You can correct or cancel a programmed setting in program
confirm mode.
