What to Check
Messages consist of dial tone only
This can occur if the calling party hangs up
without leaving a message and the answer/
record machine requires a signal from the
Central Office before terminating the recording
process. If the machine has a "voice activation"
(VOX) setting, switching to VOX will often
prevent the problem.
