Section 2C: Setting Your Phone’s Security
To activate this feature, the following presetting is required:
1.
Select
>Settings > Security, and then enter your lock
code. (The Security menu is displayed.)
2.
Select Others > Found Me > Reset/Lock > Enable.
To unlock a phone that has been locked through SMS,
please take the phone to your nearest Sprint Store.
Changing the Passcode
To change the passcode for the specially-formatted SMS message:
1.
Select
>Settings > Security, and then enter your lock
code. (The Security menu is displayed.)
2.
Select Others > Found Me > Chg Passcode.
3.
Enter a new passcode (18 digits).
4.
Re-enter the new passcode.
Note:
To send a message from mailer software, input your 10-digit
wireless phone number followed by
“@messaging.sprintpcs.com.”
