The Wireless Connection Manager
Wireless Connection Manager Main Window
When you launch the Wireless Connection Manager application, the
main window will open (see Figure 13).

The
main window
consists of the following items:
Duration
This field indicates the length of time connected.
Total Bytes Sent
This field indicates the amount of data (bytes) the card
has sent during the current network session.
Total Bytes Received
This field indicates the amount of data (bytes) the card
has received during the current network session.
Connect
or
Disconnect Button
This button allows you to Connect or Disconnect from the
network, depending on the current state of the card. If the
card is locked when attempting to connect, you will be
prompted to unlock it before connecting.
Signal Strength
Status Bar
This display indicates the card’s signal strength. If
adequate signal strength is present, several of the five bars
will be shaded green. The greater number of bars filled, the
stronger the signal strength.
