Selecting the resolution for faxing
Resolution selections for faxing are as follows:
To select a resolution setting, press the RESOLUTION key one or
more times until the desired setting appears in the display. (Select a
resolution setting before dialing.)
STANDARD (STD) Use STANDARD for ordinary documents.
This setting gives you the fastest and most
economical transmission.
FINE Use FINE for documents containing small
letters or fine drawings.
SUPER FINE (S.F.) Use SUPER FINE for documents containing
very small letters or very fine drawings.
HALF TONE (H.T.) Use HALF TONE for photographs and
illustrations. The original will be reproduced
in 64 shades of gray.
